5 star reviews can be tough to give out in the construction trade but I cannot express how happy we are that we hired the United Constructors Team to build an outdoor pavilion for us. Cash’s team was top notch and professional from start to finish. I think one of the hardest things for construction firms nowadays is to find good talented workers but United has managed to do so. Within days of signing the contract, their team was at my house starting demo and showed up each and every day after that with a full crew. They ended up wrapping up 6 weeks ahead of contract allowing us to enjoy the new project this summer! Not only was it ahead of schedule, but the work quality was also incredible. Anytime there was a complication, they would come to me with it and have a solution already suggested so that we could quickly move on and get it done. They didn’t ask for more money when something minor came up either and worked together to come to an acceptable solution as well which is refreshing. My only disappointment was that I didn’t find them sooner so I could have used them on prior remodel projects that we recently completed. Overall, I highly recommend United Constructors for any job, big or small, that you want done right on your home. You won’t regret it! Hillary C.

We have a beautiful new kitchen thanks to the gang at United Constructors. I needed foundation work, new water lines/sewer lines, and new cement garage floor and I added countertops to that because honestly after all the "dirty work" I needed joy. I hired Cash to build my 2 BD / 2 BA ADU from the ground up and what a pleasure it was to have his team deliver. Prior to deciding to go with cash, I spoke with several other General Contractors in my area and while there were some interesting bids, none of them quite get it the way Cash does. As a third-generation builder, Cash's instincts are second to none and he goes out of his way to make you happy. The thing about construction projects and remodels is they never go exactly according to plan. Because of that, it's much more important to pick the right partner as opposed to getting caught up in the minutiae. While Cash is an impressive salesman and is happy to work with you to make sure you feel completely comfortable on a contract, a handshake from him really means something. Over the course of the 9 months that I worked with Cash, his team was so patient with us and educated us along the way, even when we had concerns over supply shortages and other wait times. By the way, since meeting cash I have referred him to my father-in-law, my neighbor, my good friend and even people I have met on social media and the consensus from everyone has been that Cash will make you happy. We were looking for someone that could replace our bath tub with a walk in shower. I spoke to several companies before I went with United Constructors Inc. Cash was so great to work with from the very start I felt very comfortable with him. I had an idea as to what I wanted but then met with cash to pick out the tile, shower door and the fixtures to go in the shower. He helped me with what would look great with what and it exceeded my expectations as to how I thought it might come out. I needed various repairs to the outside of my home (broken stucco, broken vent screens, broken gutter, roof repair). Cash's team did a great job with everything. They painted the house and the windows were beefed up with extra trim which really pops with new white paint. One gutter had to be re-routed and it was a puzzle - the first attempt was not to my liking so another crew came back to redo it. I really appreciate that everyone on the team cares so much to do the very best job and make the customer happy. This is my second project with United Constructors and I highly recommend them! We have had three projects done so far by cash and crew . We have been extremely pleased what the quality of work and the professionalism we've seen with this contracting company. It seems no job is too small from putting in an electrical outlet to get me by till I could get a panel put in. I called in the morning the outlet was in by the end of the day. Our house was built in the 70s the they updated the panel for me it was done fast and in last time than what the estimate was. They maintain social distancing on the project. They were great on both of those projects keeping us updated and answering all of our questions. The other project we had done was we had a deck ripped out and a patio of pavers installed they were Fair in their pricing they came out and the work was all finished in a timely manner the workers were all polite and always told us when they are coming and going which was nice. All these projects they cleaned up like no other contractor I've ever hired before. We had a wonderful experience with Cash. We renovated our entire first floor, 2 bathrooms, and created a half-bath. Cash is a very nice guy and even gave us 2 free lessons at his horse ranch, which our girls enjoyed very much. United Constructors remodeled my garage and two bathrooms three months ago. Owner Cash, Project Manager Zack, Carlton, Jose and the rest of the crew were terrific. Decisions had to be made along the way but the team alway had great suggestions. The workmanship is flawless and the tilework in the bathrooms is just beautiful. The original 6-8 week timeline was shortened to about five weeks. I love the results and wish the rest of my house looked as good! Anita M.

United Constructors (Cash and his team of highly qualified professionals) did a great job on two separate home improvement projects - 1. removing a derelict hot tub and replacing the area with a redwood deck and, 2. refinishing a basement floor which was terribly uneven (by as much as a couple of inches in places) and redoing the drywall/texture on two badly cracked walls. The quotes on both jobs were competitive and thorough. The quote given to even out the flooring was an educated guess made prior to removing the carpet; however, once the floor was revealed, the job doubled in scope. Fortunately, Cash took it on without issue and came up with an immediate plan to remedy the situation. Cash and his team were always available, were quick to respond to questions, and followed through on all their promises. The work was completed efficiently and in a timely manner. My husband and I were extremely pleased with the quality of the finished work - it far exceeded our expectations! We hired Cash and his crew to do a kitchen remodel on our older home in Pleasanton. The kitchen in this house always felt like an afterthought and two of the walls had large windows in them. This meant that two walls didn't have countertops or cabinets. After years of debating whether to bust out a wall or expand into the backyard we finally decided the size of the kitchen was fine, what we needed was to put in different windows that would allow counters and cabinets along those two walls. We asked Cash to come look at it and give suggestions. He agreed with our ideas and we went forward from there. By the end of the day we had decided on cabinets and counter top, and within a week had the appliances picked out. The backsplash took a little longer, but the guys worked with us on that and worked around the absence. I should note that we chose to keep the upper cabinets, that helped us stay on budget and buy better appliances. Greg and the crew are awesome to work with. Always respectful and not afraid to offer suggestions. Some surprises that Greg and the crew had to deal with were: The kitchen floor is warped and a little off kilter. Dealt with, the counters are all level and at a good height for working. Needed to reroute a gas line for access to the shutoff. Dealt with, the line was rerouted and passed inspection. Inspector required more outlets. Dealt with. All in all these guys made everything pretty easy. We would definitely call them again Brian S.

I needed rotten boards replaced around my windows and a bathroom totally transformed. I went from an old bathtub to a walk-in shower. They painted and replaced everything. Manuel asked my opinion on even the smallest of details he said he wanted to make sure I was 100% happy. What a bunch of nice guys.
Once I told Cash the jobs were his he had workers her at 8am the next morning. This will definitely be my go to company for any future home improvements. Plus all his guys who came to work were always singing g or whistling and they always had big smiles. So I figure Cash has got to be a pretty good guy to work for. Rita W

I was wanting to convert my bath tub into a walk-in shower. I contacted several companies and then I spoke to Cash with United constructed. The other companies wanted to charge too much wasn't satisfied with what they told me they could do for me. Cash was very hands-on and gave me a price that was very satisfactory and what I expected to pay. I met Cash at the Home Improvement Fair in Pleasanton and unlike the other guys I met there, he was helpful and authentic. He provided me a quote and the cost was what I paid, no hidden agenda.
His team, Zach and Carlton was so awesome to work with. Carlton is genius; from demolition to plumbing, electrical, piping, building a shower, installing vanity, flooring, new closet door, drywalling, painting, tiling - every last detail was done with perfection. They are clean and took care of all the trash. Best part about my experience is working with them. I’ve been very reluctant to pull the trigger on all of this major work because I knew it was going to be very stressful. But I have to say using UCI was the easiest transition from old home to new home. This team of workers were outstanding. I had nothing but the best experience working with UCI United constructors Inc. from the moment I was introduced to Cash, I felt like I was part of his family and he listened to all my concerns. And trust me my home was built in the early 40s and I was having major issues. They addressed foundation work in my hallway, waterlines and sewer lines, a new garage floor and lots of little task. One of which was to realign my front door that had a 1 inch gap in it and a lot of weatherstripping to keep the cold air out. At the end of each day everything was thoroughly cleaned up to the point you never even knew they were here . If I ever had any concerns or questions I could call or text the company, particularly Cash, and he would text back within the first couple of minutes. The different crews that came into my home to do their part of the project were courteous and respectful of me and my dog and my home. When they left today all of my issues and concerns were taken care of. I couldn’t have had a more nicer crew to do all the work that this old home needed. It was almost a decade ago I had the opportunity to work with United. Out of all the contractors that we interviewed they immediately stood out. Their professionalism and ability to make me comfortable during the process was invaluable. I heard constant horror stories about other builders who had hidden fees as the job finished, this was certainly not the case with them. They gave me a price at the beginning of the job with the work that was promised to be done and it was all done and actually was finished a couple of weeks ahead of schedule. You can tell they’re perfectionists in the work they do by the countless hours they were there with their workers and the outcome of the finished product. After a nightmarish experience with an unlicensed contractor, I turned to United Constructors, Inc. to undo a disastrous bathroom remodel. My partner and I had been without a bathroom for 6 weeks! In August of 2019, we hired United Constructors, Inc. to redesign & remodel our entire basement/garage in Danville. This was not the simplest job as there were multiple upgrades beyond pure aesthetics. (the house was built in 1949)

Our scope of work included: re-doing the entire HVAC system (which fed into the upstairs), moving the furnace (from the basement into the garage), upgrading galvanized water pipes, upgrading all of the electrical (from knob & tube) and moving the basement bathroom from one location to another. United’s punctuality, communication, and overall professionalism are what stood out to me the most. We interviewed a few other contractors and Cash was the only contractor that showed up on time to every single meeting. If you have been through a remodel, you know how invasive the entire process can be. Luckily, we had two of the best foremen on-site throughout the entire remodel. Cash is really great at what he does. Beyond the day to day work, he found creative ways to craft, put together shelving and helped us maximize space in our storage and bedroom. Greg, the lead foreman, was simply amazing. He was extremely professional and communicative. I can list a few different examples of how he went above and beyond, but one example that comes to mind is how he returned to our site (after hours) to help us put out a water heater emergency. Without his help, our basement floor would have been filled with unwanted water. Our project manager was easy to communicate with and kept our scheduling/ordering on time. Cash was a joy to work with as well. If you're considering hiring United Constructors, Inc, rest assured that you're hiring a professional group from beginning to end. After much research, we hired United Constructors, Inc. to re-do our kitchen and add some built-ins. Being in a condo environment and sharing some common areas, it was important to respect the other tenants in the building. United did an addition on our house. We added on about 800 sq ft. We added 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. They also did the flooring in the entire house, paint the entire inside of our house and the entire outside. Matched the baseboards in the new addition to the existing. Changed an existing bedroom to an office with French doors out to a side patio with stamped concrete. The bathroom they did was to perfection! They did a beautiful job. I have used United Constructors, Inc. 4 different time over the course of 6 years. The first experience was replaced all my windows and updated my sliders to French doors. one of my favorite things was all the options they had. I replaced over 30 windows and 3 sets of French doors and updated one slider. My second experience with United I replaced my roof and put new gutters and down spouts. They did a fast efficient and wonderful job. I was very pleased. My third experience with them was they painted the entire interior and exterior of my house. It turned beautiful! They did a very professional job and my walk through had very little touch ups. Which is expected on any project. The 4th and favorite experience was redoing 3 of my bathrooms. We were looking for exterior painters. Cash from UCI did a thorough walkthrough noting some rotted beams which they would repair, fill or replace as necessary. I was happy about that. He saw my back decks - 30 yr. old redwood. He told me they could do a quality job in either deck repair or replacement. Deck maintenance was going to be my next call after the paint, so I was happy for an estimate on the decks. Cash saw a couple of peeling doors and said they could handle those. Gave me a price. Outside or inside, Cash said UCI could do most anything around the home. My wife wanted a new ceiling fan. I asked if they could do that - including the wiring. No problem. Long story short: Cash gave me a good, fair price for the bundle. Startup was in two days. Jerry ran a smooth operation from deck construction, door installation, beam replacement - overseen and provided by Erik, a master carpenter, who knows his wood and knows how to make something right - through painting and deck staining - done by Eddy, high skill, high quality, high customer care - followed by wiring and fan installation. Jerry followed up daily. The folks were here every day and worked hard. They accommodated our changes fairly and professionally. They did quality work in a timely manner. They cleaned up well. To the first review for UCI, yes this had to be a 'one bad apple' scenario. I first met Jerry Payne in 2004 at a Home Expo at the then Concord Pavilion. We were at the tail end of a remodel on our home in San Ramon. He came to our house and gave my partner and I a very reasonable quote for windows, garage door, front door install and a paint job on the house. I never had the opportunity to publicly thank him for all the help he provided, nor to say what an amazingly quick and professional job was done. Fast forward to 2012, we're in another house (c1970 and pretty much original) and need it painted, garage door, some interior work, etc. I obtained estimates from various contractors and Home Depot's Red Beacon. I also called UCI again and scheduled an appointment with Michele Payne-Solomon. Let me say that Michele has an eye for detail and is amazing to work with. All estimates in and they ended up being the least expensive for all the work that was to be done. Not by a huge margin, but the least just the same. The first order of business was to install a new garage door and opener. Because of the 'raised ranch' design of this house it was pointed out that we would have to install a side mount Lift Master opener as the old install was done incorrectly. I don't know that exact model of this garage door opener, but let me say that it is virtually silent in operation and has really cool features like the motion detector that turns on the garage light when you walk in (that's standard by the way) - do not buy one of those typical overhead types, they are not worth the install. It was installed to perfection. Second item was the plumbing and electrical inside, again done to perfection. Then the house was painted and not an easy task due to design. What an amazing difference can't believe the updated look and again done to perfection. A shame I can't post a before and after pic on here, but plan to post on their other page, if you're interested in looking. Michele makes a point of visiting the job daily and walking the property to assure that nothing is missed. Bottom line is, these folks have been in business a long time, know what they are doing, have a friendly professional staff and do a beautiful job on everything they touch.
